What we collect, and what happens to your data
Who is responsible
The controller for this site is [legal entity name], [registered address], reachable at [contact email]. If your question is about your own data, write to that email address and put "data request" in the subject line.
The enquiry form
Your name, your Telegram handle, an optional profile link, and your message. We use them to answer you, and the lawful basis is the consent you give with the checkbox. The message reaches us as an email; it is not stored in a database on this site.
Server logs
Requests are logged with an IP address and, when an enquiry is delivered, the Telegram handle it came from. This is how we notice abuse and confirm that messages arrived. The basis is our legitimate interest in a working, non-abused site.
Rate limiting
To stop the enquiry form being flooded, a counter is kept in memory against your IP address for one hour and then discarded. The counter is not written to disk and not shared.
What is stored on your device
Two things, both small and both functional. Your language choice is kept in a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE, so the site opens in the same language next time. Your answer to the cookie banner is kept in your browser's local storage under cookie-consent; that entry never leaves your device, and it is there so we can act on your answer.
Analytics
Analytics are switched off on this site at the moment. If they are switched on, nothing loads until you accept the banner, and declining keeps them off. When enabled they would be Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica, which set their own cookies and send behaviour data to their operators — Metrica can also record a session replay. You can change your answer by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Fonts and third-party requests
The fonts are served from this site rather than fetched from Google when you visit, so loading a page does not hand your IP address to a font provider. Apart from analytics once you accept them, these pages make no third-party requests.
Who else sees your data
Our hosting provider [hosting provider] processes requests to the site. Enquiries are delivered by our email provider [email provider]. If analytics are enabled, their operators process what those scripts collect. We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as the conversation is live and for [retention period] afterwards, so we can pick a thread back up. Server logs are kept for [log retention]. Rate-limit counters expire within the hour.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. You can withdraw consent at any time — for the enquiry form by asking us to delete the thread, for analytics by declining in the banner. You can also complain to a supervisory authority; in Germany that is the data protection authority for the state the controller is based in.

If this page changes in a way that affects what happens to your data, the review date above changes with it.
